AssuredNano™ is the first comprehensive nanomaterial SHE accreditation scheme featuring annual compliance auditing.

An organisation wishing to become accredited will be mentored through the requirements of the accreditation methodology via the provision of supervisory consultant support. Once prepared, the organisation will be audited over the course of a day by an independent auditor from AssuredNano’s audit group. A successful organisation will then be presented with its AssuredNano Accreditation Certificate, which will be valid for one year. Organisations will also be entitled to display the AssuredNano logo on their stationery, during the validity of their accreditation.

It is expected that successfully accredited organisations will wish to demonstrate their status to their stakeholders and in particular their supply chain partners. It is probable that successfully accredited organisations will wish to encourage their suppliers and customers to also accredit in order to assure their in-bound and out-bound processes and reinforce the commitment to nanomaterial SHE throughout a supply chain.
